This project involved water intrusion impacting kitchen flooring and an adjacent basement area. Our team performed material removal, built containment zones, and deployed targeted drying systems to restore the structure and prevent contamination spread.

This project involved active water damage affecting both a kitchen area and a lower level living space. Moisture had spread beneath finished flooring, requiring material removal to access and properly dry the subfloor.
Initial moisture readings confirmed elevated saturation levels across multiple areas, including beneath flooring and within structural materials. This indicated the need for immediate and controlled drying.
Our team began by removing damaged flooring in the kitchen to expose saturated subflooring. This step allowed for proper airflow and ensured that trapped moisture could be effectively addressed.
To prevent cross contamination, we constructed a sealed containment area using plastic barriers. This isolated affected zones and helped maintain consistent drying conditions while protecting unaffected areas of the home.
Commercial grade air movers and dehumidifiers were strategically placed across both levels of the property. Airflow was directed over exposed materials to accelerate evaporation, while dehumidifiers removed moisture from the air.
In the basement, sections of the ceiling were opened to address moisture trapped inside structural cavities. This ensured no hidden moisture remained that could lead to mold growth or long term deterioration.
Throughout the project, our team used professional moisture meters to track drying progress. Equipment placement was adjusted based on real time readings to maximize efficiency and ensure complete drying.
This project highlights the importance of proper containment, targeted material removal, and controlled drying when managing multi area water damage.
By using a precise and data driven approach, we restored the property safely and efficiently for the homeowner.
This gallery highlights the full mitigation process, including flooring removal, containment setup, exposed structural drying, and equipment placement. Moisture readings and in-progress images demonstrate a controlled, professional approach to restoring water-damaged living spaces.
